Google continues naming it's Android releases after deserts and in alphabetical order. First we had Cupcake, then Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich. Now we are waiting for Key Lime Pie.
Ice Cream Sandwich was introduced to the masses with the release of Samsung Galaxy Nexus at the end of October last year. Even though, not all mobile phones got the update, the new Android version should be presented in less than a year. Specifications of the new version are still not announced and Google does not confirm the rumors.
The big question is what device Google would choose to present their new Android version? If following the pattern, then we can expect to see a new Google Nexus phone. With the last versions of Android we were presented with the new Nexus phone. Knowing that Google do not break the pattern of naming different OS releases, the possibility to see a new phone is high.
